Is it a good idea to watch other countries stock before ours opens? and somehow predict something out of it?

I didnt when I traded stocks, but for sure I check the Globex session of the majors when I am setting up in the morning.
Crude during the Asia and London session is especially important, as that is what we primarily trade.
Need to see where its been !

think its surely good to check london if you are trading us equities? london often gives clues with futures imho
